A Fond Farewell

Gratitude and Blessings to the SFBJV community!
It has been a dream come true and privilege of a lifetime to be one among a bevy of bird loving, habitat protecting people – otherwise known as the San Francisco Bay Joint Venture partnership – for the past two decades plus! My life will be forever enriched by having devoted so many years to our great mission and worked with so many of you who make up this partnership of people I deeply respect and value.
As we approach the month of July, we also get closer to my last day as an SFBJV and Point Blue Conservation Science employee – July 7.  Life is calling me to discover and share myself in new ways, in pursuit of what I love, what I am good at and where I am most needed. If you are interested to learn more about my professional journey, magical start and experience with the SFBJV, you will find that story, in brief, on our featured partners page.
Let it be said loud and clear, I have been very attached to my identity as a fierce protector of birds, habitat and our natural world, and I have cherished being able to point to this job as living proof.  I leave our community with deep gratitude for my time spent among you all and wishes that our paths may cross again.  In the meantime, may you be healthy and safe. May you be filled with passion for your life and confident in the contributions you are making toward creating a better world. There is so much good work to do and the SFBJV is a great place to get it done! A big shout out to all of you!
