The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for a permanent/full-time Water Resource Control Engineer in the stormwater program of the Watershed Management Division. The incumbent will perform technical engineering work related to the Water Board’s implementation of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater programs. Using engineering knowledge and regulatory skills, the incumbent will evaluate, review, check, and interpret stormwater permit applications, technical reports, specifications, and monitoring data; issue stormwater permits; conduct compliance inspections and audits; prepare reports; and draft orders for Board consideration. The incumbent will also play a key role in the implementation of the industrial and construction stormwater program throughout the region, responsible for conducting inspections of industrial facilities and construction sites.
Pay: $6,299 – $11,798/month
