Greenbelt Alliance is seeking a passionate and dedicated Climate Justice and Engagement Fellow to support our efforts in developing and implementing engagement strategies that center frontline communities in decision making processes related to environmental justice, climate resilience, and sea level rise planning. This position is ideal for an early-career professional, recent graduate, or community leader interested in environmental policy, grassroots organizing, and advocacy. The fellow would work on ongoing community engagement efforts in Alameda, Oakland, and regionally.
Pay: $22/hour
Hours: Flexible, approximately 10-20 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends will be required for outreach events.
Location: Hybrid (Bay Area-based with some in-person community events). At least one in person day/week in our office in Oakland.
Projected Start Date: Flexible, applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Ideal start date is May 1.
