The goal of the Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) is to conserve, protect, and recover salmon and steelhead populations throughout California. While there are many stressors like pollu tants, overfishing, and climate change , FRGP tries to accomplish our goal by competitively funding grants to complete a variety of activities.
The 2023 Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP) includes a required pre-application phase that will be open from January 5, 2023 through February 9, 2023. Eligible applicants will be invited to submit a full application by March 11, 2023. The full application deadline is April 20, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.
