Principal Grant and Legislative Analyst

As an integral part of the Watershed Division, the Principal Grant and Legislative Analyst plays a key role in securing financial support for the District’s special projects by researching, developing, and writing grant proposals targeting foundations and government agencies. Responsibilities include preparing, monitoring, and administering grants; reviewing and selecting suitable funding opportunities; managing government relations with county, state, and federal agencies; presenting grant and legislative updates to the Board of Directors; and overseeing funding agreements and reporting. The role also involves analyzing and monitoring legislation and regulations that could impact the District’s operations, services, public obligations, and finances.
 
Pay: $121,788 – $149,520/year + benefits
