WSP is currently recruiting Corpsmembers & Team Leaders to serve in our 10-and-a-half-month program (October 5th – August 19th). The purpose of WSP is to engage Corpsmembers throughout coastal California to enhance, monitor and survey endangered anadromous salmonid populations, implement watershed resiliency projects, recruit volunteers to assist with salmonid habitat restoration, conduct community outreach, educate students and the public about watershed problems and solutions in rural and urban areas, and professionally develop Corpsmember participants.
Corpsmembers serve 40 hours per week under the guidance of WSP Mentors to bring threatened and endangered salmonids back to healthy populations by improving watershed health. Learn more about the position.
Team leaders provide support and direction to WSP Corpsmembers in their district (about 10-12 Corpsmembers) and assists WSP staff with event and program coordination. Both first and second year applicants may apply for the team leader position.
