Restoration Intern

The Alameda County Resource Conservation District is seeking a motivated applicant ready for hands-on fieldwork to join the Living Arroyos internship program. Living Arroyos interns will work with a small team of other interns and RCD staff to maintain restoration sites and habitat enhancement projects along streams in the Tri-Valley area. Interns learn real-world riparian restoration techniques and are exposed to a range of other conservation projects. Interns are also responsible for guiding volunteers while hosting creek cleanups and other outreach events. The position is part-time, around 15-30 hours per week depending on workload and project need. The duration is temporary and flexible, between 3-12 months and is mainly field based.

Pay: $20/hour

Location: Project sites are located throughout the Livermore-Amador Valley and occasionally other locations throughout Alameda County. The base of operations is at the ACRCD office in Livermore, CA.
