The Communications & Outreach Manager (COM) helps shape MCL’s public voice and messaging, supporting committee advocacy and engaging both members and the broader community. The COM is responsible for managing MCL’s external communications and outreach to strengthen public awareness, increase membership, and amplify MCL’s conservation and policy work. This position reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with the Office Administrator, members of MCL’s Board of Directors, and MCL Issue Committee members, and communications-related vendors (e.g., web developer, printer, etc.). This role requires proficiency in managing interpersonal relationships and thinking strategically to prioritize tasks across multiple projects as well as technical skills in digital communications, graphic design, and social media.
Pay: $80,000-90,000/year + benefits
Location: Hybrid (partially remote with some in-office days required at MCL’s San Rafael location)
