Ducks Unlimited is seeking a waterfowl scientist to join Western Region staff to strengthen and apply the science on which our conservation mission is firmly based. They seek a highly motivated, self-starting, collaborative individual with strong analytical and quantitative skills and detailed knowledge of waterfowl ecology and management and wetland systems across North America. The successful candidate will have experience in waterfowl research and the application of results to advance waterfowl conservation, and the ability to synthesize and communicate technical information in nontechnical terms to support public policy and development efforts. Additionally, opportunities exist to work on national and international waterfowl conservation issues in cooperation and coordination with the Ducks Unlimited Incorporated conservation staff, as well as staff from Ducks Unlimited Canada Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research, and Ducks Unlimited de Mexico.
Pay: $56,000 – 95,000/ year
