The Regional Coordinator will serve as a program manager to co-design and lead a brand-new Soil Hub for the Sacramento Valley Resource Conservation Districts (RCDs). The coordinator will support the accelerated adoption of climate-smart agriculture practices in the region through stakeholder engagement and coordination, education and outreach, regional needs assessments, fund development, and policy advocacy. The position comes with a strong focus on agricultural partners with overlapping programs, and expanding the statewide Carbon Farming Network and the Sacramento Valley Soil Hub.
Pay: $80,080-$82,300/year
Location: Sacramento Valley Region, CA. This role requires frequent (40%) travel within the region (Sacramento Valley: Butte County RCD, Colusa County RCD, Feather River RCD, Glenn County RCD, Sutter County RCD, RCD of Tehama County, Yolo County RCD, Western Shasta RCD), and quarterly travel to Sacramento and/or the San Francisco Bay Area, which may include overnight stays.
