Lead EcoStewards Field Technician

Contra Costa Resource Conservation District (CCRCD) seeks a highly motivated candidate with excellent qualifications for an open position leading the EcoStewards Conservation Team as the Lead EcoSteward Conservation Technician. The EcoStewards Program is a team of 2-4 people and provides maintenance and monitoring of RCD and partner conservation projects throughout Contra Costa County. These are nearly entirely field-based positions, working outdoors with some office time. Employees are expected to enthusiastically support CCRCD’s public service mission to deliver conservation and stewardship of the natural resources in our county while representing CCRCD at public events, meetings, and functions. The ideal candidate is a team player with a diverse and flexible skill set who demonstrates integrity, high standards, and a personal commitment to enduring conservation results. The ideal candidate also has proven restoration knowledge and experience with proven leadership experience. First review of applications on September 1 rolling basis after that.

Pay: $25-28/hour
