The intern will focus on butterfly conservation efforts and learn how to do fieldwork on public lands in Marin County, perform associated data management, and conduct occasional volunteer and outreach events. This can be a full-time or part-time position for a 6-month term.
- Start Date: June 26th, 2023, for a 6-month term
- End Date: December 22, 2023
- Schedule: Full or Part-time (16 – 40 hours a week), minimum two days a week (preferably within a Tuesday – Saturday schedule)
- Work Sites: Fieldwork takes place on Mt. Tamalpais and Mt. Burdell in Marin County. Office work can be completed remotely or at a Conservancy office site. Transportation will be made available from the Conservancy office in San Rafael
- This internship will be hybrid in-person and/or remote, in alignment with state and local COVID-19 guidelines
- Pay: : $18/hour; pay grade 6
