Save The Bay is hiring a Senior Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) to help lead our work to value and support diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility within our organization, and to pursue our mission in new ways that advance equity and environmental justice. The Director of DEI is a member of the Management Team. He/She/They will help advance Save The Bay’s vision by building and implementing systems that support the development and unity of its hybrid workforce of 30-35 people and facilitate learning and improvement. The role requires a consultative, innovative leader committed to the organization’s values and mission. Expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, organizational development and restorative human resources practices are critical. The position requires experience in organizational and people operations, strong communication and relationship-building skills, ability to manage details while understanding the big picture, the ability to work independently and across teams.
