The Outings Coordinator leads and coordinates walks, hikes, kayak trips, and other outings for SLT’s public outings program in Spanish and English to increase people’s understanding and support of conservation through connection with and experience of the natural world. This position is responsible for ensuring the safety of program participants in remote locations and must exercise critical thinking and clear judgment in unexpected situations. This position will also assist with virtual webinar events including communicating with presenters, hosting online programs and providing A/V support. The Outings Coordinator will also assist with event production for community events such as Child in the Wild and tabling for other community events.
Location: Sonoma County, CA/Hybrid (& fieldwork is required)
