Description The Marin Natural Resources Manager oversees the Marin County Natural Resources department and is a member of the Conservation Corps North Bay (CCNB) management team. The Marin Natural Resources Manager will take a leadership role in all aspects of Natural Resources programs including: developing and maintaining community partnerships, assessing community needs, developing and managing fee-for-service and grant-funded projects to meet local needs, hiring and managing staff members, developing and overseeing Natural Resources department policies and practices, facilitating communication and integration of Natural Resources programs with CCNB’s other programming, and creating a positive atmosphere to encourage learning and high quality project completion. In addition, the Marin Natural Resources Manager will oversee the implementation of Natural Resources programs, including: overseeing the successful planning and execution of field projects, coordinating communications with project partners, planning and organizing safety and training programs, ensuring the successful completion of all departmental administrative functions, and tracking the department’s budget. The position also supports the Programs Director by carrying out special projects as assigned and keeping the Programs Director apprised of the status of the Natural Resources program in Marin County.
