Description The Programs Coordinator, FIRE Foundry and Special Projects oversees the planning and implementation of CCNB’s FIRE Foundry program in Marin County as well as coordinates special projects as they pertain to CCNB’s Natural Resources programming and corpsmember services. The FIRE Foundry Program is a collaboration between CCNB, Marin County Fire Department, Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority, U.C. Berkeley, Stanford University, the College of Marin, and the Marin Office of Equity to establish an emerging science and technology-savvy, community-oriented wildfire prevention workforce by providing job training and skills development for underserved, underrepresented, and underfunded youth in Marin County. For the FIRE Foundry, the Programs Coordinator will take a leadership role, including managing the FIRE Foundry Supervisor and 12 participants, overseeing the successful execution of field projects and program administrative functions, as well as provide support for professional, educational, and personal development and success of all recruits. The Programs Coordinator will also assist the Natural Resources Manager and Programs Director with special projects, specifically in the coordination, initiation, and implementation of new or additional programming and corpsmember services in Natural Resources. Unless otherwise agreed upon, typical hours will be 9:30am-6:00pm Monday through Thursday, with hours on Friday to be determined in line with program activities.
