TitleNorth American Wetlands Conservation Act (NAWCA) Standard Grant
DescriptionThe NAWCA program provides matching grants to wetlands conservation projects in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. There is a Standard and a Small Grants Program. Both are competitive grants programs and require that grant requests be matched by partner contributions at no less than a 1-to-1 ratio. There are two cycles to these grants - cycle one typically comes due in February, while cycle 2 occurs in July. The North American Wetlands Conservation Act (Act) Grants Program application process is rigorous and coordination well in advance with the SFBJV Coordinator is strongly encouraged. If your proposal is funded, your wetlands conservation accomplishments will add to the remarkable achievements of thousands of partners in thousands of Act-supported projects across the continent.
