Caroline Warner, Outreach and Communications Coordinator

Caroline has worked as Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the SFBJV since 2002.  In her role, she is responsible for website management and content, produces the triweekly e-newsletter “the Bulletin,” conceived and produced the“wetland restoration is working” video series, writes feature profiles on partners and projects, coordinates and hosts annual tours of wetland projects as well as other special events.   All of these tasks are in service to building strong partnerships and supporting SFBJV habitat conservation efforts.  Caroline also serves on a regional communications team and national Migratory Bird Joint Venture team and works 30 hours/week. 

When she is not wearing her communications hat, she is either massaging, practicing yoga, enjoying friends, on her bike, in her garden or singing her heart out.  Caroline received a bachelor’s degree in English at Georgetown University (’85), has taught multiple children about nature in her role as an intern then Naturalist with the Richardson Bay Audubon Society, Bolton Valley Ski Resort and Summer Camp, and teacher at Shelburne Farms (in Vermont).  She has also written a children’s book about kindness, has had poetry published in several magazines, sang with women in Marin County Jail (2000-2019) and sat with people in their final transition of life as a volunteer singer with the Marin Threshold Choir.
