Job Description (brief) Point Blue is seeking a reliable, respectful, and enthusiastic Intern who has a strong interest in both restoration and education to work on projects in the South Bay/Central Coast region. The Intern will work as part of a team to assist with student-implemented restoration workdays, educate students in and outside of the classroom, and accompany maintenance and monitoring of sites. There will also be an opportunities to be involved in various education workshops, lessons, and events. Restoration work typically includes native plant installation, invasive species removal and/or biotechnical erosion work from October- May. Site maintenance work is integral to the overall program success and includes watering, weeding and other plant establishment activities from May-August. A final capstone project will be created that celebrates learning throughout the STRAW Intern Volunteer program.
