Job Description (brief) The Biological Aide will provide support for our San Francisco Bay conservation and engagement programs. Depending on the time of the year, the position will assist with restoration work including propagation of native plants, seed collection, and invasive plant removal on-site, as well as, at restoration sites. S/He will also facilitate weekend volunteer workdays, and as needed, will help with engagement programs such as Audubon Youth Leaders (AYL) and Audubon Adventure Summer Camp. The Biological Aide will assist in biophysical monitoring surveys including water quality sampling and waterbird counts. This opportunity provides a diversity of experiences in a learning environment. This is a full-time (40 hours/week), temporary position that will run from April 17th to October 17th (6 months).
