The State Board Watershed Academy is hosting two separate trainings on the River Restoration Analysis Tool - "River RAT" -- on Wednesday April 14th and Thursday May 13th at the EPA Lab in Richmond. Each training will be an all-day, interactive, hands-on session on this new river project development and evaluation tool, which was developed to facilitate consistent and thorough evaluation of the potential impacts of proposed projects on river habitat. The training is free and is open to agencies, consultants, non-profits and other interested parties. Note that space is limited, and the trainings are expected to fill up quickly. The attached flier gives more information so please check for details. But basic sign up process is: To register for either the April OR May class: 1) go to http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/academy/home.htm 2) click on "List of Current Classes" 3) Scroll down to calendar and hit next button at bottom to get to April 14 4) Click on either date or class name, this gets you to a new screen 5) click on date or "details" 6) then "select" 7) then click on "register" 8) set up login - if your organization is not on the pull down list use "General Public".
