Event Date(s) Jul 11, 2017
Event Time(s) 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Event Description Californians have a strong connection to our coast, but there is work we need to do to ensure all Californians can access and enjoy it. Join us to learn about very recent research on Californian's attitudes about the coast, their visitation patterns, and barriers to visiting the coast. The webinar will feature Jon Christensen from UCLA and Adam Probolsky from Probolsky Research. Research work includes intercept surveys at Southern California beaches, statewide online and phone surveys, focus groups throughout the state, and research on Instagram use in parks. Adam and Jon will each present their research and we will have time for Q&A. The webinar is meant for people who provide coastal access, protect and manage coastal lands, provide education and interpretation, and for people involved in policy matters related to coastal access and conservation. Join us to learn more about what Californians think about the coast!
